1865 (12 May) Envelope from Zawichost (POLAND) to Toulon/France, franked by 1858 Arms 30k and 1864 Arms 1k, 3k and 5k, all perf. 12 1/2 tied by target cancel “114”, ZAWICHOST straightline, red P.D. and red POLEN ÜBER EISENBAHNPOST cds alongside, French entry-cds ERQUELINES 17 MAI 1865 in blue, arrival in Paris the same day, erroneously franked 39k as rate was 37k, top flap missing otherwise fine and a very rare cover, one of the earliest franked Polish covers to France and unusual provenance
