1865 Envelope from Georgetown to New York, franked by 1860-63 8c pink and 2c deep orange, all tied by A03 numeral, reverse bears GEORGETOWN JAN7 1865 despatch cds and ST.THOMAS JA13 1865 transit, from there probably carried by Cunard Line “ALPHA” to Halifax, Boston and New-York, taxed 10 cents on arrival in Boston, very fine
