1850-51 4c Black on pale yellow, Townsend Type B, on pelure paper, cut square with large margins all around, tied by DEMERARA JY 23 1855 circular datestamp on small piece bearing also same circular datestamp, small defect near the first “I” of BRITISH and some normal light creasing due to the nature of this very thin and transparent paper, an extraordinary item and important rarity, cert.
