1850-51 8c Black on green, most probably Townsend Type B, with initials EDW of postal official Wight, deep fresh shade, cut round with usual faults including frame touched in places and thins, cancelled by DEMERARA JA30 1851 circular datestamp, still an attractive example (SG £16’000)
