1811 (6 January) Folded entire addressed to Mrs Fraser c/o Dr. Chisholme, York Place, Clifton but readdressed to 2 Laura Place, Bath bearing on reverse the 2-Line BERBICE, 6th / Jan. 1811, also BRISTOL 4 MA 4 1811 arrival cds alongside.Note: The earliest reference to a Deputy Postmaster in Berbice is to a Mr. Scott in 1816. Townsend reports the earliest known usage as 1813, E.B. Proud indicates a period of 4.5.1811 to 5.10.1813. This cover bears one of the earliest known usages of the Berbice 2-line handstamp
